A revised nomination strategy was recommended and the necessary paperwork prepared for the client to execute directly with each scheme administrator.

Pension Suspension Appeal
A retired civil servant received notice that his pension was being suspended pending administrative review. The letter gave no clear reason. After two months of unanswered letters to the relevant office, he contacted Bestari Lindung.
Bestari Lindung wrote formally requesting clarification of the grounds. The response confirmed a documentation discrepancy in a service record from twenty years prior. A detailed submission addressing the discrepancy with supporting documentation was prepared and filed through the appropriate channel.

Multi-Scheme Coordination
A recently retired senior government officer had entitlements across his civil service pension, a supplementary EPF account, a private retirement scheme from his 40s, and an employer arrangement from a prior private sector role. He had no integrated view of how all four worked together.
All four scheme documents were reviewed. The integrated summary identified an overlap between the private scheme and EPF that, if both were drawn simultaneously, would affect total tax treatment. The advisor recommended a sequenced withdrawal approach and noted two action items requiring scheme record updates.
The client completed both action items within a month and implemented the recommended sequence. The coordination summary was shared with his financial adviser, giving both parties a legal basis for broader retirement income planning for the first time.
